Three Great On-line Wine Apps

Bottletalk screenshotHow many wine blogs are there? Any idea? Me neither - loads and loads is the answer I think. We all have our favourites (headed by Wine Sediments of course!) but from the mass how do we sort out the interesting stories and posts? There two on-line apps that might appeal -

Wine Life Today - you can rate and comment directly on the latest blog posts, those deemed important by the readership rise to the top. Registration is required but voting is dead easy. A great way to discover the latest hot topics.

Vinolin - lacks the voting aspect of Wine Life instead highlighting the latest news stories and the most active blogs. RSS feeds are available for both.

Vinolin and Wine Life Today are excellent for discovering wine related stores, less so for tasting notes. If you wish to store, rate and view other peoples (bloggers and non-bloggers alike) tasting notes and wine recommendations where should you turn? My choice would be BottleTalk. Still in development and about to receive some marvellous additions the site is an easy way to store, share and view tasting notes. If you head on over there make sure you add winescribbler as a contact.
